Cynthia, owner of Sunhouse Craft, has long been captivated by the unique fibers from a specific agave species used in Appalachian weaving. After experimenting for years, she found the perfect use for these fibers in the form of a hand-tied broom. This lovely brush boasts soft bristles and is carefully tied with organic linen and cotton cord for a sturdy yet gentle sweep. It's great for delicate dusting and tabletop cleaning. The tampico fibers are naturally dyed in-house for the darker brushes, and the dark-dyed brushes feature leather cord also dyed in-house. About Sunhouse Craft
Sunhouse Craft was started by artist / maker Cynthia Main as a place to combine her foundation in woodworking and traditional craft with a strong desire to find sustainable and harmonious ways of working. A passionate lover of nature, she devotes much of her work in the business to helping create a more verdant and connected future through sourcing and providing meaningful work. She has been making brooms since 2013, and working as a maker / builder / artist / gardener and farmer for more than two decades in her studio in Berea, Kentucky.

Yes! We offer in-store as well as curbside pick up at our studio in the Columbia-Tusculum neighborhood of Cincinnati on Th-Sat between 11am-4pm.

We do not offer shipping of any of our fresh flower products due to their fragile nature.

If the recipient is not home at the time of delivery, we'll do our best to find a safe spot to place it, out of direct sunlight and any precipitation. If we determine that quality of the flowers could be affected, due to weather like extreme heat or snow, or other circumstances, we will not leave the order and will notify the sender and recipient where it is located.
