Part-Time Retail Store Associate

Position Overview:

As a Part-Time Retail Store Associate, you will be the face of our brand, serving as the ultimate hype-person who spreads enthusiasm and excitement about our culture. This role is ideal for someone who loves flowers and people, and is seeking a supplementary part-time position.

Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

   - Greet and assist customers with a friendly and positive attitude.

   - Provide product information and recommendations with confidence.

   - Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries and concerns.

Cleaning and Organizing:

   - Maintain a clean and organized store environment.

   - Regularly restock and arrange floral displays on the flower bar and in the fresh flower area.

Team Collaboration:

   - Work independently, but contribute to a loving and growing team atmosphere.

   - Fill in for other positions when needed during store hours.

Training and Development:

   - Receive training on floral design and arrangement for our retail area.

   - Acquire knowledge about plants and flowers to confidently engage with customers.

Delivery:

   - Occasionally deliver flowers to customers' homes, ensuring timely and safe delivery (see more info about delivery driving below).

Qualifications:

- Passion for flowers, nature, and providing excellent customer service.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Availability to work weekends and fill in for other positions as needed.

- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus.

- Proficient in Apple iPad and Apple products.

- High school diploma or higher.

- Proficient in English reading and writing.

Delivery Driver (Part-time)

Position Overview:
As a flower delivery driver, you will play a crucial role in our customer experience by delivering flower arrangements within a 6-mile radius from our shop. This position is part-time and sometimes on-call, allowing flexibility for individuals seeking supplemental income. Drivers will use their own vehicles and will be compensated based on location and mileage.

Responsibilities:

Safe and Timely Delivery:
- Deliver flower arrangements within a 6-mile radius from our shop.
- Ensure the safe and careful handling of delicate floral designs during transport.

On-Call Availability:
- Be available on-call during specified hours (10 am - 6 pm) on Thursday through Saturday and deliver all subscription arrangements monthly. 
- Respond promptly to delivery requests and be ready for quick dispatch.

Own Vehicle Usage:
- Use your own vehicle for deliveries.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.

Compensation:
- Receive compensation based on the location of drop-offs.
- Mileage reimbursement for the use of your own vehicle.

Qualifications:
- Reliable and punctual with excellent time management skills.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Own a well-maintained and presentable vehicle suitable for flower transportation.
- Ability to handle delicate floral arrangements with care during delivery.
- Availability to work on-call between 10 am and 6 pm, Thursday through Saturday and one time per month for subscription deliveries.

Floral Designer (Freelancer)

Opening available for individuals who are self-motivated, ultra creative, detail-oriented who can create beautiful floral designs.

The candidate must be comfortable working both alone and as part of a team. A passion for flowers and exceeding customer expectations is paramount for this position.

Responsibilities + Duties:

• Experience creating various wedding floral arrangements (including but not limited to personal flowers, centerpieces and installations)
• Light to medium physical labor involved (eg. unloading flower shipments) - Cleaning and conditioning flowers
• Cleaning flower containers
• Assisting with flower deliveries
• Picking and packing orders
• Assist with on-site production and clean up after events

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year experience working with a wedding florist, at a flower shop or as a studio floral designer
• Be able to drive and have access to a vehicle
• Has availability during production days and event days usually Wednesday to Saturday

As an Event tear-down crew member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and organized removal of floral decor after events. This position requires someone who thrives in a late-night environment, is fast and organized, and is committed to adopting sustainable principles in our clean-up processes.

Responsibilities:

Late-Night Tear Down:

   - Attend on-site events to dismantle and remove floral decor after the event concludes.

   - Work late hours, ensuring efficient and timely completion of tear-down tasks.

Organization and Efficiency:

   - Pack floral arrangements and decor safely and securely for transportation.

   - Maintain a high level of organization during tear-down to prevent damage to delicate items.

Driving and Logistics:

   - Drive rental vans, personal vehicles, or SUVs to transport floral decor back to the studio.

-Work independently, handling tear-down responsibilities with minimal supervision.

Eco-Friendly Clean-Up:

   - Embrace and implement sustainable practices in tear-down processes.

   - Ensure responsible disposal and recycling of materials, in line with our commitment to eco-friendly principles.

Availability:

   - Comfortable working late hours and adapting to varying event schedules.

   - Ability to work alone during tear-down assignments.

Qualifications:

- Comfortable working late-night hours.

- Fast and efficient in tear-down tasks.

- Excellent organizational skills to ensure the safe packing of floral arrangements.

- Comfortable driving rental vans, your own personal vehicles, or SUVs.

- Ability to work independently and handle tasks alone when necessary.
